Governor Yahaya Bello of Kogi State has accused the Peoples Democratic Social gathering, PDP, of being afraid of his rising profile.
Bello made the comment whereas faulting the decision for his probe over alleged cash laundering.
Bello stated the PDP was finishing up its “ordinary comedy present” by asking the Financial and Monetary Crimes Fee, EFCC, to probe him for alleged cash laundering.
PDP had accused the governor of utilizing some authorities officers and personal organisations to divert public funds within the State.
Nonetheless, the governor stated his rising profile was a risk to PDP.
Bello spoke by means of Kingsley Fanwo, the state’s Commissioner for Info, yesterday.
He stated: “It’s certainly one of their comedies.
