The Osun State Police Patrol has allegedly chased to demise a middle-aged man, Taiwo Kajogbola alongside Kajola/Osunjela highway.

DAILY POST gathered that the deceased, who had a woman passenger on his bike on the time of the accident, was going to offer his mother and father some meals to interrupt their quick on Sunday.

A supply stated the deceased allegedly refused to cease at Kajola for a stop-and-search on the checkpoint when the police stopped him on his method again to Osogbo.

His refusal to cease prompted a scorching chase by the police who purportedly hit his bike from behind once they caught up with him at Osunjela, leaving him in a pool of blood.

Reviews say the officers, having realised the gravity of the incident, made a U-turn and left the scene.

Kajogbola was unfortunate as he didn’t survive the incident. He reportedly died after some good Samaritans took him to the hospital.

When contacted, the Police Public Relations Officer, SP Yemisi Opalola stated she simply obtained info on the incident however assured that investigation is ongoing to unravel its particulars.
