Police rescue Delta hotelier, sixteen workers from gunmen

The Delta State Commissioner of Police, CP Ari Muhammed Ali mentioned the Police have rescued a hotelier, Zion Onofighe and sixteen of his employees attacked by gunmen in Ogor Neighborhood in Ughelli, Ughelli North Native Authorities Space.

The CP mentioned disclosed this in an announcement signed by the Appearing Police Public Relations Officer, DSP Odafe Shiny.

In accordance with CP Ali,”On the three/3/2021 at about 1937hrs, a misery name was acquired that employees of 1 Zion Onofighe ‘m’, a hotelier, of Zion compound Abraka have been being attacked by gunmen at his web site in Ogor, Ughelli.

“Patrol groups dispatched to the scene, engaged the hoodlums in a shootout.

“They rescued the hotelier and sixteen (16) employees unharmed. Additionally a Toyota highlander jeep was additionally recovered from the scene.”

The CP additionally mentioned a manhunt for the fleeing suspects has been launched by the Police.
