Police, vigilante rescue kidnapped victim in Delta

A feminine Divisional Police Officer in command of Umutu Division, CSP Endurance Ugbe and a mixed staff of vigilante with some youths have rescued a member of the Umutu neighborhood vigilante, Monday Mila who was allegedly kidnapped by suspected herdsmen alongside his farm street locally.

The Police promptly reunited the vigilante with members of his household.

The Delta State Police Command confirmed the discharge of the suspect in a press release made obtainable to DAILY POST.

The Police mentioned the Umutu neighborhood vigilante members led by one Kess Opia had reported that the sufferer was kidnapped by suspected herdsmen on the 19/3/2021 at about 0846hrs.

In keeping with the Police, “The DPO Umutu Division CSP Endurance Ugbe instantly mobilized a mixed staff of Police, Vigilantes and a few youths to the bush searching for the sufferer as a result of strain on them suspected kidnappers deserted the sufferer and fled. Sufferer was rescued and reunited together with his household.”
