A 33-year-old tailor, Esther David, was on Tuesday arraigned in a Kaduna Chief Magistrates’ Courtroom over an alleged breach of belief.
The defendant who resides at Sabon Tasha, Kaduna State, is going through a two-count cost bordering on negligence and prison breach of belief.
The prosecutor, Insp. Chidi Leo, mentioned the complainant, one Cynthia Godwin, of Ungwan Sunday in Tv space, Kaduna, reported the matter at Sabon Tasha Police Station, Kaduna, on Feb. 22.
In keeping with Leo, someday in Nov. 2020, the complainant gave the defendant three items of wrapper to stitch for her and he or she was charged the sum of N17,000.
The prosecutor mentioned the complainant gave the defendant the sum of N10,000 and promised to pay the stability when the garments have been prepared.
Leo added that when the complainant got here to gather her garments, the defendant couldn’t give a passable clarification for dropping the wrappers.
He additional added that every one efforts made by the complainant to get the wrappers and a reimbursement from the defendant proved abortive.
The prosecutor mentioned the offences contravened the provisions of Sections 311 and 233 of the Kaduna State Penal Code Regulation, 2017.
The defendant pleaded not responsible.
The Justice of the Peace, Ibrahim Emmanuel, granted her bail within the sum of N100,000 with one surety in like sum and adjourned the case till March 31 for listening to, NAN reviews.
