Three law enforcement officials connected to the Ogun State Command have been dismissed for allegedly extorting cash from a traveller.

DAILY POST learnt that the dismissed officers, Inspector Sunday John, Sgt Jimoh Asamiya and Sgt Solomon Adedapo have been accused of forcefully gathering N153,000 from a person who was travelling from Abeokuta to Lagos State.

In an announcement on Tuesday, the state’s Commissioner for Police, CP Edward Awolowo Ajogun famous that the cash was recovered from the culprits and handed over to the sufferer.

The Commissioner added that “They have been arraigned for departmental orderly room trial on a three-count cost of corrupt practices, discreditable conduct and disobedience to lawful order,” the assertion learn partially.

“They have been discovered responsible of all the fees, and subsequently dismissed from the drive to function a deterrent to others of their sneakers.”
