A cape City toddler died in a pool in Camps bay.
The victims household is mourning the loss of life of their three-year-old boy who drowned on Sunday.
An inquest docket have been opened by the police for additional investigation surrounding the incident which occurred on Sunday morning.
In keeping with Paramedics, they arrived the scene at Camps Bay dwelling at about 11:50am.
A girl believed to be a health care provider and member of the family was seen performing CPR on the kid once they arrived.
ER24 paramedics spokesperson Werner Vermaak mentioned: “Paramedics instantly assisted and made each effort potential and continued with CPR.”
“Sadly, there was nothing extra that might be completed for the infant and he was declared useless on the scene.”
It’s not clear if the toddler was swimming earlier than he drowned or slipped and fell.
Additionally, the time the little boy spent submerged within the pool is but to be decided.
