A former aide to ex-President Goodluck Jonathan, Reno Omokri, has berated the nationwide chief of the All Progressive Congress (APC), Bola Ahmed Tinubu, for donating cash to victims of the fireplace catastrophe which engulfed Katsina Central Market.
Tinubu had on Wednesday donated the sum of N50m to victims of the fireplace catastrophe which engulfed Katsina Central Market on Monday.
The nationwide chief of the APC paid sympathy visits to merchants and different victims of the market within the firm of the State Governor, Aminu Bello Masari, a report said.
Reacting to the donation, Omokri criticized Tinubu who in response to him didn’t donate cash for the victims of the Sasa market disaster in Oyo State and the Ijesha market hearth sufferer in Lagos State.
Omokri on his official Twitter deal with on Wednesday, lambasted the chief of APC, saying, “Clearly, Tinubu’s charity doesn’t start at residence.”
He mentioned, “Bola @AsiwajuTinubu, who didn’t go to or donate one kobo to victims of the Sasa market disaster, or victims of the Ijesha market hearth in Lagos, has at the moment donated ₦50 million to victims of the Katsina market hearth. Clearly, Tinubu’s charity doesn’t start at residence.”
