Two motorcyclists, generally known as okada riders, had been on Friday crushed to demise in an accident in Abeokuta, the Ogun State capital.

DAILY POST experiences that the accident occurred round 8:25 pm at Kotopo, reverse Forte Oil filling station, Obantoko space of the Abeokuta-Ibadan freeway.

It was gathered that the accident concerned two Bajaj bikes, considered one of which was registered as SGM 006 VG and a Leyland tipper truck marked AAB 969 XV.

Confirming the incident, the Ogun State Site visitors Compliance and Enforcement corps stated the 2 motorcyclists rammed into the truck resulting from their recklessness whereas on the highway.

“The accident was brought on by reckless driving/impatience on the a part of the bike riders, as they rammed right into a tipper truck shifting in the wrong way

“The 2 bikes and the tipper truck have been taken to Aregbe police station.
