On Sunday, Eskom declared its downgrade of implementation of load-shedding to Stage 1, which can start from 12pm to 10pm.

Eskom stated it was needed for load-shedding to happen in order to replenish its emergency era reserves.

Simply this week, Eskom elevated the implementation of load-shedding to Stage 4 attributable to chilly, wet climate and damaged generator items.

The facility utility is now beckoning on South Africans to utilize electrical energy sparingly.
