WAEC cancels exams for private candidates

The West African Examinations Council (WAEC) Nigeria on Friday cancelled the First Sequence Literature-in-English (2&1,3) examination of the 2021 West African Senior Faculty Certificates Examination (WASSCE) for personal candidates.

The examination which was held on Friday, twenty sixth February has been rescheduled for Thursday, March 11, 2021.

The examination council disclosed this in a press release, giving no cause for cancellation.

The WAEC First Sequence exams began on February 15 and ended March 2.

In the meantime, the examination council has launched the cost process for WASSCE 2021 for varsity candidates.

The board instructed colleges to go to its places of work of their respective states to finish a remittance kind and get approval from the Ministry of Schooling for the variety of candidates to be registered for this 12 months’s West African Senior Faculty Certificates Examination (WASSCE).

The colleges have been directed to acquire the endorsement of WAEC Department Controllers of their states.
