In response to Western Cape SACC chairperson, Lionel Louw, the voice of the church deserves to be heard as a result of the church’s heritage is of integrity and never of corruption.

“No, we’ve had corruption with us for numerous years and through this covid interval, specifically, we’re seeing the heightening of that corruption at a time when individuals have been ailing and a few individuals have been dying.”

Reverend Martin Abrahams from the Moravian Church desires authorities to know the church has had sufficient.

“It’s the truth that the poor have gotten poorer, it’s the truth that lots of our people who find themselves within the church buildings have little or no hope for the longer term and that’s our concern.”
