The spouse of a northern KwaZulu-Natal police officer have been implicated within the homicide of her husband.
The spouse and an alleged hitman will seem in courtroom on Wednesday in reference to the homicide of the KZN officer.
Hawks in an announcement on Friday disclosed that that they had made a breakthrough within the homicide case of the 59-year-old warrant officer Phiwayinkosi Magwaza.
He was shut whereas he was asleep in Melmoth on August 27.
Hawks spokesperson, Simphiwe Mhlongo stated the intense organised crime investigation unit and the particular activity power arrested a 42-year-old man on Thursday morning at KwaMashu Hostel.

A homicide case was reported at Melmoth police station and the Hawks have been tasked to analyze the matter.
Following investigations, Magwaza’s spouse, Sanelisiwe Mpungose, 27, was linked to the homicide and was arrested in September.
