Zamfara: UN condemns abduction of school girls

President of the UN Basic Meeting, Amb. Volkan Bozkir has strongly condemned the kidnapping of 317 schoolgirls in Zamfara State.

Bozkir in a tweet on Friday night mentioned he was shocked by the kidnapping of 317 ladies from their college in northwest Nigeria.

“That is the third mass abduction of kids since December within the nation. No baby anyplace needs to be afraid to go to highschool.

“I hope the ladies are unhurt and will likely be freed quickly,” he added.

In an analogous tweet, UN Secretary-Basic António Guterres mentioned he was appalled by the kidnap.

Describing assaults on faculties as a heinous violation of human rights, the UN scribe demanded the fast and unconditional launch of the ladies to their households.

In the meantime, President Muhammadu Buhari described the newest abduction as inhumane and completely unacceptable.
